Red Raspberry leaf has been used to prepare mothers for childbirth for at least two centuries. Used as a tonic and relaxant for the intestines and the uterus. Works as a binding agent for intestines & reduces diarrhea & helps to quell nausea and is a slight sedative.
Generally considered safe to consume throughout all nine months of pregnancy, although regarded as a mild uterine stimulant by some who recommend consuming only in the second and third trimesters.
