How is a flower essence different from a tincture?
Flower essences are a homeopathic solution of water with a small amount of alcohol as preservative. They carry the energetic quality of a particular flower, herb, or tree. Flower essences are a gentle, energetic tool that encourages our emotional state toward a greater sense of joy, peace, or solidarity with a familiar spirit.
Our tinctures are potent alcohol based extracts of medicinal herbs that act on the physical body. One would take a tincture when looking to treat physical actions in the body such as a cough, digestion issues, cleansing the liver, etc.
