Ginger and the energy of Mars work together throughout the whole body relieving congestion, nausea, inflammation, and muscle tension. In medical astrology, Mars rules the head, face, brain, and blood. It also rules the muscular system. One root cause of muscular tension is psychological, and this can come in the form of repressed anger and emotions, anxiety, and frustrations. Gingerol, found in ginger, is high in antioxidants and is very anti-inflammatory. This helps soothe and protect the body from the harmful effects of stress and the impact that it can have. Our muscles hold onto repressed emotions, eventually causing a great deal of pain if they are not seen. Ginger gives us the strength and determination to go into those places and release emotional burdens and conditioning. Ginger flower essence sees our pain and validates our suffering while giving us the will and determination to let go.

Flower essence tinctures work by modifying energy flow through the typical acupuncture meridians. Shifts in these energetic patterns influence the consciousness in helpful ways both emotionally and physically. These homeopathic remedies can be described as “vibrational” or energy medicine. Flowers themselves contain the highest concentration of life force energy of the plant. Through the sun infusion method, we can harness the healing vibrational pattern and energy of the flower. This is imprinted in the water and then preserved as medicine. Preserved with brandy but can be replaced with glycerin upon request.

The flower essence of Ginger is only the vibration of the plant and no plant material is used in the harvesting process.

This can be used as a tincture ingested neat, or added to water, tea whatever you feel. I recommend one drop in water three times a day. All of the essences can also be added to a bath.
