Saint John’s Wort harnesses so much Sunlight that it has strong photochemical content. All plants get their food from the sun using a process called photosynthesis. Saint John’s wort takes in so much that it can cause sensitivity to the actual sun. Because of this, it becomes a solar powerhouse producing chemical components such as hypericin, pseudohypericin, and hyperforin. These chemical components have been studied and used effectively as an antidepressant and mood stabilizer. For harsh winter S.A.D, having a high boost of sunlight from Saint John's Wort is a wonderful remedy for a boost of sunshine. SJW is a hardy shrub that grows in ditches and roadsides it fills landscapes all through the summer and is known to peak during the summer solstice, bringing the true celebration of the Sun. its sweet little pentacle shaped flowers give us protection, courage, and strength. Not only does Saint John's wort protect us emotionally it holds strong antibacterial and antiviral qualities. SJW is the father protector in the plant kingdom he brings his wrath to our hearts through his deep connection to Sol.

Flower essence tinctures work by modifying energy flow through the typical acupuncture meridians. Shifts in these energetic patterns influence the consciousness in helpful ways both emotionally and physically. These homeopathic remedies can be described as “vibrational” or energy medicine. Flowers themselves contain the highest concentration of life force energy of the plant. Through the sun infusion method, we can harness the healing vibrational pattern and energy of the flower. This is imprinted in the water and then preserved as medicine. Preserved with brandy but can be replaced with glycerin upon request.

The flower essence of St. Johns Wort is only the vibration of the plant and no plant material is used in the harvesting process.

This can be used as a tincture ingested neat, or added to water, tea whatever you feel. I recommend one drop in water three times a day. All of the essences can also be added to a bath.
